Imperial Guard costume part I "Canteen & bag"

I decided to make a Imperial Guard costume. I heard from a friend about a store that sells old army stuff. There I found these canteen and ammo bag. All they needed was skull, wings and Imperial Aquila. I cut them from cardboard. First I coated them with black paint and then drybrushed with two different metal colors. I added few layers of varnish and then hot glued them in place.
Next I'm going to do flak armour and helmet.
