These are Reaper Bones miniatures. I made round bases from bottle caps. The knight had an ok base so I didn't do anything to it. That knife has served me for a long time. I think it's about 15 years old.
I almost left this mini on the shelf at GameScape. Just because I thought bald head didn't go well with this model.
Then I thought I could make hair out of greenstuff. :) I tried to make a base with water on it but it didn't really turn out so good. I think the watereffect itself was great. So maybe next time I have a better desing :P I turned the failed water base to dry land with some green on it. It took me a while to think of a color combination for the clothes. Then I remembered one very rubbery pirate.. he likes to yell "I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" ;)

The plastic used in Reaper Bones miniatures is good and bad. Good because it bends and won't brake easily. Bad because thinner parts are usually warped and are very difficult to straighten. Both this and the knight have slightly warped swords. Also with the Reaper Bones I find it difficult to scrape the mold lines. Instead I cut them with a sharp knife.
